Led by Mark Mayne, Director, we started Concept Design Construct with the vision of building a strong team where everyone works well together and takes pride in their work.
Based on the Gold Coast, we specialise in full property renovations and extensions including bathroom renovations, as well as kitchen and laundry renovations. We work with trusted trades and a clear process to deliver high-quality results and a smooth experience from start to finish.
Mark has been a QBCC-licensed builder since 2000, which means 25+ years of Gold Coast-specific experience with everything from character Queenslanders in Southport to high-rise apartments in Surfers Paradise and Broadbeach. That local knowledge changes decisions every day on site — which council overlays matter, how to work around body corporate hours in a tower, and which suburbs have substrate quirks that an out-of-town builder would miss.

That's not how we work. We're upfront about costs, clear about timelines, and easy to get hold of when you have questions.
Every project is delivered under our QBCC builder's licence (15155156), with the Queensland Home Warranty Scheme premium paid on your behalf and a fixed-price written contract before work begins. Deposits stay within the QBCC limits (5% for contracts over $20,000). Wet areas carry a 10-year waterproofing warranty, exceeding the statutory six-and-a-half-year structural warranty required in Queensland.
